Seriously.. I have no clue what they smell like but it's a good smell.

Believe it or not, there's a net on that arch... which is why I put strings on it to keep birds from getting caught.

Warm & Wet

There was a thunderstorm last night. Filled the rain barrel with overflow so everything should start sprouting if this weekend is as warm as they say.

Kinda cloudy and drizly today.

Behind the Broccoli, the peas are doing well.

The trellis mesh will have to go on the bars this weekend so the peas have something to climb.

I am hoping this is kale. Won't know for sure til it's bigger.

Goose Daycare

I've been noticing that although a pair of geese will have only 3-5 offspring of their own, it's common for a bunch of them to drop the kids off with babysitters and go for a swim/dinner/stretch their wings.This communal/reciprocal  type of childcare allows the adults the freedom they need while keeping the kids safe.

Awesome. 

They're hard to count but there's between 15 and 20 little gosslings here and only 2 adults to be seen anywhere nearby.
